The Beaverton Area Business Association (BABA) is a network of local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners working together to keep Beaverton vibrant. We promote our members, support community events, and connect people with the places and services that make this area a great place to live, work, and visit.
Every member, event, and partnership adds up to a stronger Beaverton.
As a chamber-style organization, BABA focuses on practical, local support. Here’s how we serve our members and our community every day.
We maintain an online directory that makes it easy for residents and visitors to find local businesses, services, and organizations. Members gain increased visibility through listings, features, and shared promotions.
From the July 4th Parade to seasonal shopping promotions, we help plan, promote, and support events that bring people into Beaverton and into our local businesses.
Monthly meetings and networking opportunities give members space to share updates, learn from each other, and build relationships that lead to referrals and partnerships.
We collaborate with the City of Beaverton, schools, nonprofits, and civic groups on projects that improve the community, strengthen downtown, and attract new investment.
BABA serves as a collective voice for local businesses, supporting initiatives that make it easier to start, grow, and sustain a business in the Beaverton area.
We share news, announcements, and practical resources so members and residents can stay informed about what’s happening in Beaverton and how to get involved.

🎄😱 Uh oh…
You just realized that someone (no judgment here 👀) is missing a Christmas gift.
You checked online, but shipping says: “Arrives December 27.”
December. TWENTY-SEVENTH.
What ever will you do?!?!
✨ We have a VERY simple solution:
👉 Support a BABA Member
👉 SHOP LOCAL
👉 Walk out with a gift that can be wrapped and under the tree TONIGHT
No shipping delays. No panic scrolling. No explaining “it’s still on the way.” 😅Just great local gifts and instant holiday hero status.
🎁🎄 Shop local. Save Christmas. You’ve got this. ... See MoreSee Less

What an incredible night at our Community Tree Lighting event! We are so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate, support, and share in the holiday spirit with us. Seeing our community come together made the cold night feel warm and magical.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped plan, participate, and set up the beautiful display—you truly brought the season to life. Special thanks to Bob Fruchey, Martin Hodge, Bree Visser, Mayor Nau, and Kim Shea for your time, dedication, and leadership in making this event such a success.
Extra special thanks to Mr. Grifhorst and the BHS Band for braving the cold and filling the night with the sounds of the season—you were absolutely wonderful!
We are also incredibly thankful to the Beaverton Activity Center for offering their campus as an alternate site for the event and decoration display—your generosity made all the difference. And a huge shoutout to the Beaverton Fire Department for delivering Santa in true holiday style aboard a fire engine sleigh—what a moment! Thank you to our friends at the Beaverton Police Department for providing traffic control.
On behalf of BABA, we invite everyone to stop by, enjoy the display, snap some special photos for your memories, and truly embrace the spirit of the season. Thank you, Beaverton, for making this a night to remember!
